This Kickstarter project is actually a great idea, if you’ve been eyeing up LG and HTC’s 3D phones enviously. It works by basically adding another camera sensor to the iPhone, via the Sthreeam dongle you attach to the base.
When in doubt, go 3D. Hey, it’s working so well for everyone else, so why shouldn’t Nokia have a stab too? A patent has arisen showing a Nintendo 3DS-style dual-screen phone with both 2D and (glassesless) 3D screens.
It was hardly a secret, but today LG’s Optimus 3D was borne into a world where dual-core processors and dual cameras is the norm. Seriously, think back to your first mobile phone (a Nokia?), and consider how far we’ve come.
