We’re missing a lot of things this year. Things we’d be doing plenty of if 2020 was a normal year, like going to the movies. Alas, 2020 has not been a normal year.
To help, Disney+ is putting on a bunch of Drive-In movie events across the country, letting you experience the joys of being at the movies from the comfort of your own car. Or, if you’re lucky enough, from the comfort of someone else’s very nice car. Thanks to the great folks at Volkswagen, you can win the ultimate VIP experience via the competition below.
That’s right, lucky winners of this comp will get to drive one of Volkswagen’s new SUVs including the T-Roc and T-Cross to the Disney+ Drive-In event and have a front-row viewing position. This money can’t buy prize also includes a comfort pack with everything you can think of for a sensational movie experience, a premium food and beverage package and a personal concierge who will assist them with all their needs on the night. You can also choose to watch from the front seats or put the back seats down and lay in the spacious boot.
Of course, if winners are unable to drive, we’ll organise for someone to drive on their behalf and drop them home at the end of the event with some goodies to take with them.

The Disney+ Drive-In tour kicks off in Brisbane at the Northshore Riverfront Event Space on Thursday the 17th of September, followed by Sydney on Thursday the 22nd of October at the outdoor car park of Parramatta’s Bankwest Stadium. It’ll be stopping by in Melbourne as well, so keep your eyes peeled for dates and venues soon.

The lineup of flicks shown will feature beloved franchises like Star Wars and Marvel, as well as movies from Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar and Twentieth Century Fox. The names of each event should hint at the films on offer, like Marvel Mondays. Tickets range from $40 to $55 depending on how many people you have with you, but for lucky winners, it’ll cost you absolutely nothing AND you’ll get the best seats in the house.
