It’s time to put on your robe and wizard hat, friends. Every Harry Potter Movie is coming to Netflix.
The news was announced earlier this morning – revealing that the films will be available for streaming from January 15.
This is awesome news for Potter fans, though it’s a shame that they won’t be available over the Christmas period.
None of the titles are currently available on Netflix, though some have been in the past.

This news comes after a big win for Stan last week. The Aussie streaming service signed a content deal with Disney, which has already saw a huge amount of TV shows and movies added to its library already.
While Netflix still retains the rights to some Marvel Universe titles such as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Daredevil – it is largely devoid of Disney-owned content now.
The addition of the Potterverse to Netflix’s lineup kinda seems like a quick answer to the Stan/Disney deal. The timing of the announcement and the blown out premiere date are interesting.
Regardless, I’m excited to marathon the whole thing again and ugly-cry over Alan Rickman.

From tomorrow, subscribers will be able to watch a slew of content from the Mouse, as well the Marvel and the Star Wars universes.
Considering that a large portion of Disney-owned content was removed from Netflix earlier this year, this is a huge.”]
