If you’re wondering what’s been missing from your life, perhaps, just perhaps, it’s a super-expensive, hand-made coffee pod machine, built to look like a Formula One car engine. It’s fortunate then that Superveloce’s “Nero Carbonio” range exists — not only are they constructed from the same materials as the real deal, but come in V8, V10 and V12 versions.
I know what you’re thinking: this is a joke, right?
No, it’s not, and I have even more proof.
As the product page on Superveloce’s website extols, the Espresso Veloce Nero Carbonio 380 are “hand-built” and “precision-machined” using only the best “aerospace-grade billet aluminium alloy, titanium alloy and super alloys”.
According to the single set of specifications (which I’m assuming cover the V8 version), the machine weighs 21.5kg and has a LWH of 380 x 420 x 340mm. Those hoping for a real espresso machine will be disappointed — only coffee pods are supported.
If you’re interested in getting one, you’ll have to leave your details with Superveloce. No price is mentioned, but it’s safe to say it won’t come cheap.
