Less than a week ago the Microsoft Store quietly added Huawei’s Matebook X Pro to its suite of products.
Both the i5 asnd i7 versions were on pre-order until today… and they’ve already sold out.

I can’t say I’m surprised by this turns of events. The Matebook X Pro is one of the best laptops of 2018, and Australia has been impatiently for its since the beginning of the year.
What also helped matters was the significant pre-order/Black Friday deal the Microsoft Store had on the Pros – $200 off the i5 and $300 off the i7. Considering that the prices vs specs on the latter in particular already made it an insanely good buy – the extra dollars off made it a no-brainer purchase.
The bad news is that we don’t know when more will be available – there is a world-wide shortage on the machines and they were being sold exclusively through the Microsoft Store in Australia.
I guess we’ll all just have to play the waiting game again – or you could try and get one from overseas. Until then, feel free to torture yourself with our review of the the Matebook X Pro. Or check out a bunch of other Black Friday laptop deals.
