Towards the end of last week Telstra had a sale on some of its plans, and now Optus has come to join the party.

The telco is offering 15% off its 200GB $125 per month plans for customers who bundle it with an iPhone XS or XS Max.

While 15% may not seem like a huge saving, once you crunch the numbers it’s actually worth considering. Let’s take the 64GB iPhone XS as an example. Choosing this plan now will bring the priced down to $106.25 a month for 24-months. Or to look at it another way – it makes the plan $450 cheaper over two years, including the handset repayments.

As for the 64GB iPhone XS Max – it comes down to $121.25 a month over 24-months.

All of the discounted plans include 200GB of data per month, 4GB of monthly roaming data, unlimited standard talk and text to 35 countries, and the usual Optus entertainment inclusions.

If you’re after more storage, the 256GB and 512GB models are also available with the deal at an extra $15 and $30 a month, respectively. If you click through on either of the above tables you’ll be able to choose whichever handset you like.

These deals will be available until December 2.
