Samsung’s Refreshed Frame TVs Add Even More Artwork

The new 8K QLED range may have been the talk of Samsung’s press conference at IFA today, but that wasn’t the only TV announcement. There is also going to be a refresh of its Frame range.

Available from September 30 in Australia, the new Frames will come in three sizes — 43-inch (price TBA), 55-inch $2,799) and 65-inch ($4,199).

They will also come with Samsung’s One Clear Connection Cable (they still won’t tell us how it works), new customisation options and more than 800 works of art.

Hass Mahdi, Head of Audio Visual, Samsung Electronics Australia, said: “The entertainment experience in our lounge rooms is changing and Australians expect more from their TVs. The Frame delivers this by enhancing the look of any space, displaying art when it’s off and TV when it’s on.”

“The Frame is more than just a TV. It delivers stunning picture quality for an incredible viewing experience, the elegance of the cord clutter-removing One Clear Connection cable, and the ability to enhance any space by displaying over 800 works of art.”

The artistic element of The Frame range is being further highlighted with a collaboration between
Magnum Photos with the release of 28 specially-curated photographs available exclusively in the Samsung’s Art Store for The Frame.

Samsung are also adding pieces from The Tate to the available artwork for the Frames, which joins ones from the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Berlin State Museum.
