Though not as notorious for the practice as Marvel, Pixar has also been known to include post-credit scenes in some of its movies, such as Finding Nemo and Frozen. But while Incredibles 2 doesn’t include such a scene, you might not want to rush off straight away.
In our post-Marvel cinematic landscape, post-credit scenes have become more and more common, creating growing uncertainty amongst theatregoers as to whether they should remain seated or try to beat the post-movie bathroom crowd.
If you get impatient sitting through several minutes of scrolling names for a few seconds of bonus footage, you’ll be happy to know that you can leave the cinema as soon as Incredibles 2’s credits begin without missing much.
But that isn’t to say you won’t miss anything at all.
For those who have nothing else to do and don’t mind waiting around, there are three fun little tunes nearing the end of the credits that are worth sticking around for.
I won’t spoil what they are, but it’s delightful hearing the full songs after they’re hinted at in the film. It’s a cool bit of worldbuilding that put a smile on my face.
Incredibles 2 hits cinemas June 14.
