We’re on the ground on Barcelona for Mobile World Congress, where Samsung just released the full details of its next flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S9, and Galaxy S9+.

We’ll be covering the phones in more depth throughout the day, but for now – here are the basics, folks. How much it will cost you, and what it is made of.

The S9 will be available in Australia for $1,199 (64GB) and $1,349 (256GB).
The S9+ will be available in Australia for $1,349 (64GB) and $1,499 (256GB).

Pre-orders open today February 26), with the phones officially releasing on March 16.

You’ll be able to pick up the S9 and S9+ 64GB model in Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and the new “hero” colour, Lilac Purple (Pantone colour of the year, no less).

The S9 and S9+ 256GB will be available everywhere in Midnight Black at launch, while the S9 and S9+ 256GB in Lilac Purple and Coral Blue will only be available at Samsung Online and Samsung Retail Stores.
