Solo Could Explore An Iconic Unseen Moment From Star Wars History

The Orville could cross paths with another Seth McFarlane show. You’ll be waiting a while for the next season of Rick & Morty. There’s more discussion of the future of The X-Files after Gillian Anderson’s departure. Plus, Captain Marvel casting, a new clip from Agents of SHIELD, and more. To me, my spoilers!

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Salt shakers at the ready, because Rebel Scum has leaked images and details from the first Lego sets based on the movie. The sets include what appears to be a new kind of Stormtrooper, as well as several landspeeders based on designs seen in early set pictures from before Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s exit from the movie.

Although toy spoilers, especially ones from Lego, are rarely to be taken at face value, most intriguingly among the leaks is a set based on the new-old Millennium Falcon, which has the previously rumoured blue trims as well as some slight modifications to the overall design, and dubbed the “Kessel Run Millennium Falcon” by Lego.

The Kessel Run, of course, is the famous smuggler’s route from the spice-mine planet that Han claimed the Falcon performed in less than 12 parsecs in A New Hope — and a location Ron Howard has previously teased as maybe appearing in the film. Could the infamous Kessel Run actually take place in the movie, then?

Captain Marvel

Deadline reports DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It) has joined Captain Marvel in an undisclosed supporting role. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Monica Rambeau though.

According to The Wrap, Christian Ditter (How To Be Single) has been hired to direct New Line’s mysterious, upcoming sci-fi thriller, Stillwater. Though the film’s logline is still under wraps, Stillwater will be based on a screenplay by Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty and the Beast, Hercules).

A new trailer was just dropped but now Bloody-Disgusting has a gallery of new images from Helen Mirren’s new horror movie about the haunted house of the family that gave the Winchester rifle its name. Click through for more.

Avengers: Infinity War

A new photo from the set sees Robert Downey Jr. jubilantly pose underneath an Avengers logo — perhaps a new base for a team, or a return to the previous Avengers facility in the wake of Civil War?

Insidious: The Last Key

Lin Shaye discusses all things Insidious in a new featurette.

The Orville

TV Guide reports The Orville could be crossing over with another Seth McFarlane series. According to producer Rich Appel, a recently completed script for Family Guy ends on the ship’s bridge.

The X-Files

/Film reports that during an executive session for the Television Critics Association, Fox CEO Dana Walden echoed Chris Carter’s recent sentiments about The X-Files‘ future without Scully.

It seems like if those are the circumstances, there won’t be more X-Files.

Rick & Morty

Appearing on a recent episode of the Detroit Cast podcast, series writer Ryan Ridley told fans not to expect the fourth season anytime soon.

We got done writing season 3 in November of last year and here we are 11 months later. And then I know how long the show takes to write, let alone animate, so it’s just like, I’d be surprised if there was a fourth season on the air any sooner than 2019 — in late 2019.

Agents of SHIELD

Fitz gets a new alien identity and meets a familiar face in a clip from tonight’s episode, “Marauder Protocol.”

The Flash

Finally, Coming Soon has images of The Flash‘s cast pulling very serious faces in a courtroom for the midseason premiere, “The Trial of the Flash.” Head to the link to see more!
