Video: If you’re a fan of Stranger Things and 1980s horror movies — and there’s a lot of crossover there anyway — you gotta stop what you’re doing right now and watch Slasher Things. This fan-made delight inserts all the big slasher villains (and some cult favourites, too) into the show’s “Thriller” trailer, and it is perfect.

Maybe the very best thing about Slasher Things is that you can just tell its creator — YouTuber Josh Nitsche — is a huge horror nerd. (The inclusion of Crispin Glover dancing like a maniac in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter is what sold it for me… but you gotta love Ash and his chainsaw at the end, too.) And it’s thematically right-on, considering Stranger Things is supposed to lean heavier on the horror this season, and the show itself recently released a poster that pays homage to 1984’s A Nightmare on Elm Street. Season two hits Netflix on October 27.
