Next week, she’ll be showing up as an homage to rock legend David Bowie and giving another latter-day deity some grief.

Gillian Anderson must be having the time of her life playing new god Media. She gets killer lines about the level of devotion offered up via generations of entertainment consumption, and performs in some most excellent costumes. The latest of these looks debuts in the clip above, where Media tells Technical Boy that he better do right by the ominous Mr World. Technical Boy, looking like a rancid Justin Bieber variant, better listen to Media. Not a good move to piss Ziggy Stardust off.
