Lunch Time Deals: Save Money On Surface, Get A Free SSD

Need a new laptop? Need some extra storage? You can take care of those things with a single swipe of your credit card when you shop at the Microsoft Store this month.

Microsoft has a deal across a lot of the PCs in its Microsoft Store where you’ll get a free 350GB Samsung T3 portable SSDT when you pick up a new laptop. The little T3 is an absolute monster: it’s tiny, sturdy, and runs ridiculously fast to transfer all your media on or off. When we tried it out, we absolutely loved it.

Where the Microsoft deal gets good, though, is when you combine that free SSD with the 10 to 15 per cent off that Microsoft is offering on a couple of its different Surface and Surface Book convertible laptops. The cheapest Surface Pro 4, for example, is $899 down from its original $999 asking price. The 256GB version of the original Surface Book is down from $3299 to $2804.

So, that’s our advice: kill two birds with one store. Buy a discounted Surface or Surface Book, and pick up a freebie portable Samsung SSD while you’re at it. [Microsoft Store]
