This movie still holds up so damn well. Black humour at its finest. Plus, Steve Buscemi!
Stan: A man deeply in debt hires two inept crooks to kidnap his wife and split the ransom money. The deal goes bad when the crooks kill a highway patrolman and 2 hapless bystanders, and the murders fall under the jurisdiction of a Minnesota police chief.
Silence of the Lambs

Stan: An FBI trainee is assigned by her superior to interview an imprisoned, cannibalistic psychopath, Hannibal “the Cannibal” Lecter, in the hope that he may help uncover the identity of an elusive serial killer.
