With each tease of footage and each new casting announcement, we’ve waited with bated breath to see Starz’s adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s classic novel of godhood — and the wait won’t be for much longer. American Gods is set to premiere on April 30.
Starz has confirmed that the first in the eight-episode series will launch on April 30, following a public premiere at SXSW on March 11. There’s not much to go by at the moment, other than a new teaser image featuring Shadow Moon and Mr. Wednesday.
And a few other peculiar sights, of course. It is American Gods, after all. Given everything we’ve seen of this show so far, we really can’t wait to see more in a few months.
