Marvel’s Inhumans TV series finds itself a director. Celine Dion is returning for the new Beauty and the Beast. ABC is making a show about time-travelling refugees. Maisie Williams teases an exciting season ahead for Game of Thrones. Plus, a new clip from next week’s Agents of SHIELD, and new pictures from Riverdale. Spoilers!
Hellboy 3
Following an “informal twitter poll” that probably had little to no impact considering the people involved in this situation, Guillermo Del Toro has promised fans a “sit down” with actor Ron Perlman and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola to discuss the possibility of a third movie at some point.
I spoke with Ron Perlman. He’s in for the sit down. Will approach Mignola next. Will keep you posted. Very moved by your love of pt I & II
— Guillermo del Toro (@RealGDT) January 19, 2017
Given that Ron Perlman has always been very vocal about wanting to do Hellboy 3, and there’s no reason to suspect Mignola wishes otherwise, it doesn’t seem like this lunch meeting could actually achieve anything. It’s the financing that has kept the movie from being made. So until del Toro has lunch with some studios and production companies, consider this identical to the many other times the concept of a Hellboy 3 has been discussed over the past few years.
Avengers: Infinity War
Josh Brolin has started teasing his preparation to begin filming for Thanos’ role in the movie.
Beauty & the Beast
Celine Dion has taken to Facebook to announce that she’s performing an original song for the film.
I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be performing an all-new original song, “How Does A Moment Last Forever,” for Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast. Being a part of the original film was such a magical experience in my life, and I’m truly honored to be a part of this film again. – Céline ?

Game of Thrones
Maisie Williams briefly discussed the show’s next season in an interview for BBC Radio 1, promising a “great finale”. The actress also mentioned that she was expecting to receive scripts for season eight in the near future, which you might be able to take as confirmation Arya Stark survives the events of season seven unharmed… or, well, as unharmed as anyone still alive on Game of Thrones can be described as. Shadowhunters
Romance and intrigue combine in a new synopsis for episode six of season two, “Iron Sisters”.
To help get answers to what Valentine may be planning, Isabelle and Clary are sent on a mission to visit the Iron Sisters. Once there, more truths may be revealed than Izzy and Clary planned. On a mission of their own, Simon and Maia are determined to find Luke who is still missing after the demon attack at the Institute.
Meanwhile, Magnus and Alec finally go on their first date.
