“Back in production, see you next year.” That’s the message from the Twitter account of Stranger Things this morning, accompanied by the first photo from season two. A photo that, of course, is upside down.
If you flip it over though, there are a few things to talk about.
One, yes, Millie Bobbie Brown is back as Eleven. As are all her young cohorts, and the teen characters. On the far left and right are the new characters, played by Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink.
But, missing are all of the adult characters, who are probably just on the other side of that table, and, most upsettingly (and not especially surprisingly), Barb. Oh Barb, we’re sorry.
Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy revealed to us earlier this week that he was going to be at a table read this week, so it’s cool to actually see it.
Stranger Things season 2 will debut on Netflix in 2017.
