Rob Thomas throws water on rumours about iZombie coming to an end. A Flash supporting character could cameo in Justice League. Peter Docter explains why the next Toy Story was pushed back. Plus, new footage from Moana and Ash vs Evil Dead, and more familiar faces are confirmed for The Defenders. Spoilers!
Star Wars: Episode VIII
Making Star Wars has another report about the costumes of the movie, this time focusing on Kylo Ren, who seems to get a significant update to his look. While Ren will wear a mostly identical version of his mask from The Force Awakens, he’ll apparently wear a tunic under his robes similar to the uniform Luke wears in Return of the Jedi.
The biggest difference, however, is a cape (capes for everyone in this movie!) – one MSW claims is basically like Darth Vader’s cape from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, with a modified clasp. According to the site, it might be a new garment Ren has made in the style of his grandfather, or it might be another step of his obsession with the past and somehow actually be one of Vader’s capes, collected as a relic since the Empire’s fall.
Justice League
New rumours have cropped up discussing the possibility of Iris West actress Kiersey Clemons leaving the role after the departure of Rick Famuyiwa from The Flash movie. However, Varuety writer Justin Kroll has reported on Twitter Clemons has filmed a cameo for Justice League, one that could be cut á la Shailene Woodley’s Amazing Spider-Man 2 role should the actress depart the role.
Also lot of you asking about Clemons, she did shoot a cameo in LEAGUE and has a deal to play Clemons, so she’s not going anywhere

If she somehow did fall out, WB could just cut that scene since LEAGUE similar to when Sony cut Shailene’s scenes in SPIDEY

Toy Story 4/Monsters Inc
Peter Docter explains why the film – said to focus on the relationship between Woody and Bo Peep – has been pushed back to 2019.
It’s hard, because as we get in there, we realise you don’t want this to just be another regurgitation of something we’ve seen. We’ve really plumbed the depths of these characters with Woody and Buzz, so to find something new that hasn’t been done, I feel like we’re onto it now. But it’s taken some real deep investigative work.
In the same interview, Docter is also lukewarm on the idea of a direct sequel to Monsters, Inc:
We purposely went with a prequel for Monsters University because we didn’t want to answer some of the questions about what happens to Boo, and how does she grow up, and things like that. It would have to be really compelling, which is hopefully the benchmark for all of our sequels, anyway.

Ash vs Evil Dead
A new synopsis for “Home Again” seems to reveal some pretty major events (and what appears to be a major death) happening on the show soon:
Ash, distraught after losing Pablo, is determined to bring him back! Ruby and Kelly tag along as they travel back in time to make sure Young Ash never sees the Necronomicon. But the butterfly effect they create is something no one can believe!
Finally, Kelly and Linda fight off an angry mob intent on killing Ash in a new clip from the next episode.
