Transformers: The Last Knight is getting weirdly medieval. Powerless reveals its loose connection to one of DC’s biggest heroes. Plus, rumours of an unexpected Game of Thrones guest star, new video from the set of Ready Player One and new looks at the returns of Scream Queens and Blindspot. Behold, spoilers!
Transformers: The Last Knight
Acting Auditions has posted a casting call for extras to fill a ‘major medieval battle’ for the film:
Transformers: The Last Knight will be filming a major medieval battle scene between Saxon Invaders and King Arthur’s Knights. Shooting will be taking place in London, England between October 3rd and October 14, 2016. The casting directors are seeking the following:
• MALES — 16 years of age and older, with long hair and/or long beards. This is to play medieval Saxon invaders and King Arthur’s Knights. Very good pay.
Also, actress Elizabeth Croft has confirmed that she’s joining the film in an undisclosed role.
SO EXCITED for my first day on @transformers! See you tomorrow @michaelbay @laurajhaddock ?#TransformersTheLastKnight

Hunting Grounds
Formerly titled Valley of the Sasquatch, this bizarre-sounding Bigfoot movie has a new title:
The film tells the story of a father and son who are forced to move to an old cabin in the woods after a devastating tragedy. The forest unearths a tribe of Sasquatch who are determined to protect their land.
Ready Player One
New videos have emerged from location filming in Birmingham, UK.

Arrow
While we learned at San Diego Comic-Con that Katie Cassidy will be reprising her role as Laurel Lance across Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow, the actress has now confirmed that Laurel will first appear in the season premiere of Arrow on October 5 in the US:
Coming up, you will see me in the premiere of Arrow, Season 5. Pretty exciting! And I will also be — they announced at Comic Con, which I’m safe to say — across all three shows: Flash, Legends, and Arrow, for this next year. So, I’m excited about that.
Meanwhile, David Ramsay explains how he’d like to play Diggle’s first meeting with Supergirl.
It’s funny, too, because the first time when I meet Flash, Andrew Kreisberg — the executive producer of the show — was sitting in video village, where he kind of watches what’s going on in front of the screen, and he’s like, ‘Listen: When you see Flash, I want you to go big.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, ok.’ So I did it, and I threw like one fry in the air. And I went over and Andrew’s like, ‘No, like go crazy big, dude.’ So I threw like all the fries into the air and everyone just howling laughing. . . . Diggle has to have a reaction to Supergirl, that rivals Flash. So I decided he could maybe pee just a little bit.
