In exactly one hour, Samsung will take to the stage of the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City to kick off Unpacked 2016, an event at which it’s widely expected to introduce the new Galaxy Note7. We’re on the ground in NYC, so stay tuned for live updates, but if you want to watch along with us too — here’s the place.
At 1AM AEST on 3 August, Samsung will live-stream its Unpacked 2016 event through its 7 UNPACKED 2016 page. If you’re on desktop or mobile, this is the place to be.
We’ll endeavour to track down a direct YouTube or Twitch or uStream link if possible, and we’ll embed whatever we can in this page. But for now, hitting up Samsung’s official live-stream page is the way to go.

And why do we think we’ll be seeing the Galaxy Note7 at this unveiling? Well. Look at the invite, guys. A ring of little nibs and points that look suspiciously like Samsung’s S Pen? An entire S Pen in silhouette next to that? The number seven next to that? Come on, this isn’t exactly Poirot.
(Oh, and even Samsung is saying it’s the Galaxy Note7. There goes the big surprise.)
We’re here at Unpacked 2016, so let us know if you have any questions you’d like answered. Even if you’ve just been scanning rumours and you want to see how close to reality they end up being — post in the comments below!
