It’s almost cool enough to instigate a car chase.
We’ve written before about how the McLaren 650s is just about the perfect car, and now NSW has one in its possession. Chalk up one more point that side in the Sydney vs Melbourne rivalry. Though it’s unlikely you’ll see this thing rolling up to many actual crime scenes, as the $450,000 supercar is intended for use as a promotional tool to raise money. And before you wonder how long it’ll take them to break even for the actual car, it was donated to the force, with taxpayers only paying for fuel.
As News reports, the car’s first job was a march celebrating 100 years of women police officers. You can see it below.
