Windows 10 Is Coming To Xbox One In November

We knew Microsoft’s vision of one operating system across its hardware would be gracing the Xbox One in time, and now we’re more certain when that will be happening. During its Gamescom press conference, Microsoft announced Windows 10 would be available for Xbox One in November.

November when? We still don’t know, but it’s better than the slightly more board “fall” deadline we had heard before. With Windows 10, Xbox One will finally have an all-new dashboard UI as well as Cortana virtual assistant integration. Cortana is actually a small gift for those who were saddled with a Kinect before Microsoft unbundled the sensor camera from the console because Cortana will require the Kinect for audio control.

But if you absolutely can’t wait for Xbox One/Windows 10 integration, well, there’s a fix for that.
