First Photo Of Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Luke Skywalker Leaks Online

Ever wonder what Luke Skywalker would look like with an extra 30 years on him? That's the rough timeline of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and courtesy of a leak from the set of the new movie, we have at least a hint of how the original trilogy's favourite Jedi looks now -- and what it might mean for the plot of the new movie.

Episode VII News has a single leaked photograph from the set of The Force Awakens, and it's of a considerably older and more grizzled Luke Skywalker -- played by Mark Hamill, obviously -- wearing some sand-coloured Jedi robes.

The robes are an interesting point of conversation, actually -- they're light, which alludes to Skywalker being one of the good guys in the movie and not an instrument of the dark side of the Force, which some punters were speculating he might be from previous footage. Either way, my hype for this movie and its December 17 release date in Australia continues to grow. Hey, let's all watch the trailers again!
