Postal workers may soon go the way of the milkman… in Switzerland, at least. The country’s mail service, Swiss Post, is going to test the first-ever delivery-by-drone program in coming months. It’s a collaboration with Matternet, a company working to develop such services. Its first drone can schlep up to 1kg worth of goods, which can be transported over the span of 20km on one charge.
