We got our first glimpse of Terminator Genisys last year. It was certainly flashy, with the requisite special effects (and Arnie appearance), but wasn't that impressive on the dialogue and plot fronts. Today Paramount has released more footage and... well, my opinion has changed much.
This clip is shorter than the first trailer, weighing in at a minute and some of the vision is recycled, but we do get a peek at some new content — JK Simmons fires off a few lines and T1000 lovers can enjoy a few seconds of mercurial bliss.
The movie, set for release later this year, stars Games of Thrones' Emilia Clarke as Sarah Conner and Jai Courtney of Spartacus fame (though Australians may remember him from All Saints and Packed to the Rafters) in the role of Kyle Reese. Of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the Terminator. All signs point to a reboot, but the original is a hard act to follow, especially as James Cameron isn't in the director's chair.
