As part of its sponsorship of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, LG has some goodies to share around. They’re giving you — your kids, specifically — a chance to walk out onto the field with cricketers for the national anthem. Oh, and a couple of tickets to a match as well.

The LG Anthem Kids comp has been running for a little while now, but it’s coming to a close this Monday, so if you have a kid, enter them and if they win you’ll get a ticket for yourself as well. Not a bad bonus, right?
Anthem Kids is happening across all the matches played in Australia — Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney — but since it’s a lucky dip you might end up at the final if you’re really lucky (at least if you’re in Melbourne, where the final will be at the MCG). Winning a prize gets your kid out there alongside a cricketer for the singing of the national anthem, as well as a ticket for yourself and your son or daughter to stick around and actually watch the match.
More than a billion people around the globe are expected to watch the World Cup this year, so LG’s sponsorship lands it in front of a lot of eyeballs. Aussie opening batsman David Warner is a big ambassador for LG, both for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and more generally — he actually owns one of LG’s Ultra HD TVs.
There are a few rules to the competition — your kids have to be between 5 and 8, you’ve got to get to the cricket in your selected location yourself, and you’ll have to be ready for a rehearsal before the match itself. (The full terms and conditions are available on LG’s Anthem Kids website.) That said, if you’re not already going to the cricket, it seems like a pretty no-fuss way to potentially get yourself a ticket each for you and your darling child.
