Fujifilm X-A2: An Updated Entry-Level Mirrorless For Selfie Lovers

Fujifilm X-A2: An Updated Entry-Level Mirrorless For Selfie Lovers

Fujifilm has updated its affordable, entry-level mirrorless camera, the X-A2. The interchangeable lens camera now features an LCD screen that pivots 175 degrees — so, yes, it will be useful for selfies. But there’s more too.

Inside, there’s a 16.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, wireless image transfer and an improved autofocus. The bundled Fujifilm optically stabilised 16-50mm (24-76mm-equivalent) f/3.5-5.6 lens has been tweaked too. The camera with that lens costs $US550, although you can add a 50-230mm (76-350mm-equivalent) f/4.5-6.7 lens for $US150 more.

The camera will be available in brown, white and black versions next month. [Fujifilm]
