Apple just announced that OS X Yosemite will be out today, and it’s free. No huge surprise there — Mavericks was also free. But it’s still good news for anybody who likes pretty things.

In addition to news about the release, Apple also showed off some flashy things that the new Continuity feature offers. It works terrifically well with iWork, which also gets a free update, available today. The company showed how you could start a presentation on your iPhone, pick up at the same place with your iPad, move to your Mac, and then throw it up on the screen. The coolest part? You can control the presentation with the Apple Watch.
