When I was a kid in my puberty years, my when-I-grow-up dream was to be an astronaut, have my own P-51 Mustang, and a girl who could be a bomber pinup girl on the nose of a B-17 Flying Fortress. I got the third wish, so I’m happy about that. This spectacular ad for Breitling got two out of three.
The ad itself is actually quite bad, but the photography of the P-51 Mustang and the F4U Corsair over the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah is stunning. They look magnificent. Here’s their first ad, which we published in 2012:
