Bill Murray’s Hilarious Costumes In Late Show With David Letterman

A clever imgur user posted a strip with all the costumes that Bill Murray has used in the Late Show with David Letterman from 2009 to 2014. Murray is always hilarious, but the fact that he has been doing this for five years now is amazing. It makes me sad to know that we won’t see a new costume in 2015.

My favourite is, of course, Liberace.

Bill Murray and David Letterman’s history goes all the way back to the very beginning of Letterman’s career as a talk show host. Murray was the first guest of the very first Late Night With David Letterman, which aired on NBC on 1 February 1982.

Murray — who rose to national fame during his three-season run in Saturday Night Live from 1977 to 1980 — returned once more as the first guest in the first episode of the Late Show With David Letterman on CBS on August 30, 1993, which also featured with Tom Brokaw, Paul Newman and Billy Joel.

Letterman will retire this season, leaving his seat to Stephen Colbert.
