This Pulsating Art Installation Flashes Like Geometric Neurons


Turn off the lights and put away your dabs ’cause it’s time for a light show. This wild South Korean art installation traces paths of light along filaments abstractly stretched across a darkened room. It would be so perfect for training Catherine Zeta-Jones in her reboot of Entrapment.

Called Line Segments Space by its creators, Mimi Son and Elliot Woods, this piece was installed at the Seoul Art Space Gumcheon in 2013 as part of the Da Vinci Idea exhibit of new works. The artistic duo plan to follow up this piece with a

‘live install’ version of Line Segments Space — watching them setup is, I guess, performance art? — dubbed Line of Sight, at Resonate 2014.
