I have always wanted to be a fighter pilot. In space. Fighting aliens. Now I can! EVE: Valkyrie is being ported to the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, and it means you can pilot your very own starfighter and engage in zero-gravity dogfights in glorious first-person VR.
Oculus VR is co-publishing EVE: Valkyrie to the Rift as the first AAA game for the platform when it gets released for retail buyers.
The Oculus developer blog informs us that it’s being developed out of Newcastle in the UK.
Joystiq went hands-on with the Rift edition of EVE, and it looks like incredible fun.
