You’re probably not going to instantly become as talented an artist as Marcello Barenghi by simply watching these wonderful timelapses of his photorealistic drawings. But it’s still utterly captivating to see them come to life, and all the tiny details that make them look so real.
And who knows, maybe watching someone bring something as mundane as a beer bottle or an empty cookie wrapper to life off of a blank canvas will inspire you to pursue your artistic dreams. Maybe this is the first step to you becoming the next Michelangelo. At the least, it’s an awesome way to waste an hour.
