To prove that internet companies are a little out of control with the blue, though, and that we all subconsciously love it, web designer Colin Gourlay created the quiz site Name That Blue. It puts up a blue background and two company names and you click the name the blue goes with. And I got a perfect score. So I’m either exceptionally good at remembering colours, exceptionally weak willed and susceptible to advertising, or just normal. Blues seem to stick with us.
