Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, Virgin: Here’s Who Will Stock The New iPhones In Australia

You’ve heard how much the new iPhone will cost you outright in Australia, but who will carry the iPhone on contract?

Turns out, everyone will!

Optus, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile and Telstra will carry the iPhone 5C, with preorders starting on 13 September, while the iPhone 5S will be up for pre-order from 20 September.

We don’t have pricing on the devices on contract just yet, but you can probably guess it’s going to be around the higher (>$50 per month) tiers when it lands based on past pricing.

Here’s something interesting, however: both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C support dual-band 4G/LTE. Only one carrier in the country carries a dual-band network, and that’s Optus.

Optus confirmed to Gizmodo this morning that it would carry both the iPhone 5S and 5C with dual-band compatibility.

Will you be getting a new iPhone?
