People are greedy. We just are. What we want is all the content. All the content streaming to our Chromecasts. We want more. We want all the streaming services. All the video and audio the internet can offer. More, more, MORE. Here's how to do stream everything to your Chromecast.
Developer Koushik Dutta, or Koush, has been trying to create workarounds for Chromecast since its debut, and now he has one that lets you stream media from any Android app to your Chromecast. Koush is one of the developers on CyanogenMod, so he built the functionality right into the JellyBean ROM.
When he plays audio or video in any app on his phone, an option shows up in the notification tray to stream it to Chromecast and then it plays on his TV. He says that it will work with any app that was built on the Android MediaPlayer API. So go nuts.
It may take a while for Google to officially secure all the third parties you want for Chromecast, and some may never happen because of TV licensing and rights issues, but that doesn't mean you can't have it all right now. [DroidLife]
