DARPA Got A New Tagline (And Tom Cruise Helped)

Any day is a good when the government’s most futuristic R&D lab starts cavorting around Twitter with Scientology superstars. And this is one of those days.

For whatever reason — probably a conspiracy but most likely just to market his next dystopian blockbuster — Tom Cruise has been following the good work DARPA’s been doing. So, early Friday morning, he tweeted out a link to DARPA’s press release about its most recent exoskeleton breakthrough.

Obviously excited about this brush with the star of Risky Business, the government agency responded immediately. And, whether they meant to do it or not, it looks like they’ve got a great new tagline on their hands.

Now that, in the words of one Twitter user, is putting the science in Scientology.
