That’s a big call, but wait until you see what Project Cars has to offer. Wow.
Project Cars — which stands for Community Assisted Racing Simulator — is an incredible game that we thought was only relegated to hardware-demo territory for a while there.
Back in 2011, Project Cars started up as a community-run project where members of the public could contribute programming time or ideas to the game. Now we’re in 2013 and counting down until the eventual launch date set for some time in the next 12 months.
This game has eye-popping visuals, realistic-looking racing and engine noise that will give you an eargasm. I’d even go as far to say that this might be one o the best looking car games of all time.
It comes out in 2014 and will support all the major current-gen consoles. No word on next-gen console support yet, but it does say it will come to the Oculus Rift headset. Eeeek. [Kotaku]
