These Guys Used 1600 Instagram Photos To Make One Instagram Video

To everyone shooting Instagram videos right now, just give up. No one cares about your 15-second selfie or crappy first video test. It’s never going to be as good as your pictures. But you should also give up because these guys used 1600 different Instagram pictures to stitch together a wonderful stop-motion Instagram video that kills every Instavideo dead.

Even though the video is impressively smooth, Friends In Faux (the guys who made the video) actually shot every single picture and uploaded it to Instagram. Every single frame you see in the video is an actual picture posted to Instagram. Seriously.

After getting all the pictures taken and in Instagram, the guys needed to record the whole thing as if it’s happening within Instagram itself. In all, the whole video took three weeks to make. If you’re curious how the guys made the video, the behind the scenes video is here. I’m glad that they pulled off this stunt with individual pictures instead of waiting to stitch 15-second clips together. [Friends in Faux via PetaPixel]
