The BlackBerry Q10 Has An Australian Release Date

Our favourite QWERTY-boasting smartphone — the BlackBerry Q10finally has an Australian release date.

Starting from July 1, you’ll be able to pick up the BlackBerry Q10 running the BlackBerry 10 OS from both Optus and Telstra.

Telstra will be pricing the Q10 at $11 extra per month on its $60 Every Day Connect plan on a 24-month contract starting from 2 July.

That plan includes $600 worth of included calls and SMS, 1GB of eligible data and unlimited SMS.

No word on Optus pricing just yet, but we’ll update you when we hear.

The Q10 will also be available from resellers like Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi.

It’s great that the Q10 is finally coming to Australia, but isn’t it a touch too expensive? Let us know if you’ll be getting one in the comments.
