Google Glass: The Teardown

It was only a matter of time before someone bought a Google Glass unit for the sole purpose of tearing it limb-from-limb (or board-from-board) just to see what was on the inside. Surprisingly, the face-based future is very simple on the inside.

Four boards, one battery, bone conduction audio and a really in-depth set up experience: that’s what makes up Glass.

The folks at Catwig who did the teardown actually do a great job at walking us through what it’s like to be a Glass Explorer from a customer perspective, as well as what it’s like to use, before finally getting into tearing it apart.
