Yes, You Can Mix Ingredients With This Working Lego Hand Mixer

Lego builder/Flickr user Hippotam has come up with what is possibly the greatest innovation in cooking appliances since the toaster met the oven. Dubbed the Hippmikser 2000, it’s an actual functioning hand mixer made out of nothing but Lego.

In theory, with enough Lego pieces you can build whatever appliance you happen to need for a given recipe. It’s like having an on-demand appliance service that doesn’t require endless cupboards to store. And, given you can completely and safely disassemble this hand mixer, getting every last bit of batter off of those whisks is now a walk in the park.
