Optus To Sell Samsung Galaxy Express

Look! A new Galaxy phone!

It’s called the Samsung Galaxy Express, but don’t let the coincidental release timing fool you: this is no Galaxy S 4 Mini.

The Galaxy Express packs a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and 8GB of internal storage, all underneath a 4.5-inch (800×480) screen. It runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Optus plans to sell the new Galaxy Express on its $35 Plan with an extra $7 in handset repayments over 24 months. Alternatively, if you want no handset repayments, the device will be available on the $50 Optus Plan for $0 over 24 months.

You’ll be able to pick it up both online and in-stores from Monday 3 June.
