They come in four different styles. Above is the mid-century modern Illinois House — a tiny copy of the Farnsworth House, the Chicago home designed by legendary architect Mies van der Rohe. Then there’s the Kyoto House, which takes cues from Japanese avant garde style. We’ve actually featured a few houses recently that look like they’d fit next door to this one if they shrunk to a tenth of their size.
The Hobikken sounds like a couch you’d buy at IKEA, but it’s also a tiny Scandinavian-inspired playhouse.
Then lastly, there’s the Casaforum model, a steel-clad crib with leaf-like shapes printed on the outside.
