Nokia has announced that the mostly mid-range Lumia 720 will be available in stores this month for an outright price of $429.
The Lumia 720 isn’t Nokia’s high-end play by a pretty long shot, but then you’d expect that at this kind of price point; the key feature on the 720 is, as we’ve noted before, the higher-than-expected optics that make it a better camera phone than many at this price point.
Virgin Mobile will stock the Lumia 720 from the 4th of April, while Vodafone will have it “in the coming weeks”, according to the release, whatever that actually ends up meaning. Other retailers are expected to have stock from the 10th of April.
