Back when your grandparents weren’t your grandparents, and they were smoking when smoking was still a cool thing, they had a chair like the Acapulco Chair.
Made by CB2, it’s an update to the old papasan seat, but it ditches the tired old cushion and bamboo frame, and adds a zap of electric blue colour and a fresh pear shape. It’s made of handwoven black and blue PVC cord, so it’s clear for indoor or outdoor use.
It’s $US250, but don’t feel like you have to rush to redesign your house to match the ’50s resort aesthetic — it’s modern enough that it will fit right in. [CB2 via BLTD]
