Streaming internet radio service, Pandora, last week announced it would be putting the brakes on its mobile streaming by limiting the service to 40 hours of streaming tunes per month. That sucks, but the good news is that it won’t suck if you live in Australia or New Zealand. It doesn’t count here!
Pandora reached out after the news last week to clarify that the 40-hour streaming limit for Pandora Mobile doesn’t apply to users in Australia and New Zealand.
It only applies to US users because of higher per-track royalty costs that need to be paid by Pandora.
Stream via mobile all day on mute just to celebrate being an Australian.
