You may not know Ray Cusick by name, but you definitely know his work. He was a designer for the BBC who is responsible for creating the Daleks — Doctor Who‘s most fearsome baddie. Cusick, sadly, passed away this week in his sleep at the age of 84.
Cusick’s family reported that he passed in his sleep on 21 February. He will be missed.
