Overstock CEO Arrested Trying To Board Plane With Loaded Gun

According to a report by Fox13, Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne was busted at Salt Lake City International Airport with a loaded Glock 23 in his carry-on bag. Wait, what?

Fox13 reports that Byrne was stopped at security with the handgun and according to the Sheriff’s Office logs [PDF], he was booked late Wednesday night for carrying a concealed weapon. Reports say the weapon was fully loaded with 12 bullets. Byrne denied knowing the gun was in his bag, which of course sounds very fishy, but even the officials say they don’t think there was any criminal intent. [Fox13 via BI]
