Nexus 7 With 3G Finally Available In Australia

The Nexus 7 is an amazing tablet, but imagine if it had 3G HSPA+? Imagine no longer, gadget fans: it's finally on the Google Play Australia store!

It's a 32GB-version of the Nexus 7, which includes both Wi-Fi and HSPA+ connectivity. It's unlocked which means you can throw any data SIM you like at it for your 3G connectivity. It really is the Nexus 7 we should have had all along.

This bad boy will set you back $349 right now — still cheaper than an iPad Mini.

But we all know how fast things disappear on Google Play. Get it while it lasts, folks. [Google Play]

I don't get it... The 3G version has been available at harveynorman for a few weeks now

Exactly! I bought one from jb few weeks ago

I think the point is that Google are selling them direct now and not just via the distribution channel

I love this tablet, but having had an iPad 2 for over a year now, I do not NEED another tablet until the iPad dies. It's a shame really because this is the tablet I should have purchased. This thing can do so much more than the iPad, however I really like the real estate of the iPad 2.. Argh so spoiled! First world problems!

You can just sell it on Gumtree and eBay and it'll easily get $350

    What is delivery fee?

From what I remember when I ordered one from G-Play was like $17, this was back in July/August a little bit after it launched. Could have gone up?

Meh, I have an original 16GB WiFi model and it's fine. No 3G isn't a dealbreaker for me, I just tether it to my phone. If I need more space I can use a flash drive.

What do you mean by flash drive? The Nexus doesn't have expansion slot, or am I missing something?

Using a USB OTG cable you can connect a flash drive, or USB thumb drive, for extra storage. If you use an app like Nexus Media Importer you don't even need to root the device.

Now just get some Nexus 4 back in stock... and maybe throw some 4G abilities at it for making us wait.

out of the box tethering is disabled on these, also you cannot make 3g voice calls.
all up these are one of the fruitier of the Google products.
